Five Yonkers high school students were awarded prizes ranging from $100 to $500 in the 3rd Annual Yonkers Aqueduct Essay Contest. Winners from Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Sacred Heart High Schools received cash awards, with matching funds going to their schools. The contest, sponsored by Friends of The Old Croton Aqueduct, focused on the historic 26-mile trail.
