Sherwood House Restoration Update

The Yonkers Historical Society completed the restoration of significant elements of the Sherwood House exterior in 2024. The entire roof was restored to historical accuracy, as was the South faรงade of the building. In 2025, the Society will work on the next phase, which includes rebuilding the second-floor porch.

Grants from the City of Yonkers, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and generous donations from members and friends of the Yonkers Historical Society funded the completion of the work.
